Professor Mark Anner was recently named the 2010 George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching. This is the top teaching award given by the University and is a very high honor. As the 2010 Atherton Award Winner, Professor Anner served as the Mace Bearer for the Spring Commencement of the College of the Liberal Arts.   This is a very prestigious role and it was the first time an LSER faculty member has been so honored.  Here, Professor Anner is pictured with Dean Welch of the College of the Liberal Arts.
