Jill Jensen

Jill Jensen is Post-Doctoral Scholar with the Labor Rights in a Global Economy Project in the Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations. She holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her areas of interest include comparativeanalysis of labor law and social policy development, and inter-governmental relations surrounding global labor markets and trade. Her research focuses on the history of the International Labor Organization (ILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, and its attempts to formulate and monitor international labor standards. Before coming to Pennsylvania State University she served as Assistant Director to the UC, Santa Barbara Center for the Study of Work, Labor, and Democracy.
