I am a first year graduate student at Penn State University in the M.S. Human Resources and Employment Relations from Sparta, NJ expecting to graduate in May 2018. I graduated in May 2016 with a B.S. in Psychology and a concentration in Business. I combined my passion and knowledge of understanding people and business management, to find myself in the field of Human Resources.
During my undergraduate career I worked as an assistant to the engineers at a manufacturing and engineering company, G.T. Microwave, where, I sorted and shipped important electronic units, and organized confidential paperwork. I also was a research assistant for the Vescio Social Psychology Lab at Penn State University, where, I helped study power and masculinity. I directed participants throughout the process, ran experiments, recorded and coded data, and organized data videos.
This past summer I spent my time traveling the U.S., including a two-month cross country drive from NJ to California, and back. Some stops included Nashville, St. Louis, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. At each stop I enjoyed experiencing the different food, views, plant and animal life, and meeting different people. I have a passion for experiencing new things and learning along the way.
I look forward to the learning experiences that the next two years as a graduate student at Penn State have in store for me. I am excited to learn more about the field of Human Resources and make connections along the way.Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will get back as soon as possible!
