The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for all facets of this program including, but not limited to the following:

• Lead the design, development and implementation of TE’s early career rotation programs (e.g. HR, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Development Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Channel Talent Infusion)
• Develop robust program content including training curriculum, assignment framework, performance management, cross functional project opportunities, leadership exposure, and evaluation for continuous improvement.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the program and serve as the key point of contact for rotation program participants, managers, mentors and program sponsors.
• Facilitate rotation council and steering committee meetings to ensure business unit and regional alignment among the programs.
• Coach rotation program participants to develop individual goals and identify appropriate rotation assignments.
• Partner with HR functions, including Organizational Development and Learning & Training, to manage leadership and technical training curricula for all rotation programs including bi-annual training events.
• Collaborate with business unit and functional leaders to identify managers and mentors for rotational assignments; match program participants with rotations; ensure that program participants receive feedback after each assignment and a formal performance review on an annual basis.
• Provide guidance to rotation lead activities including the Leadership Speaker Series, Alumni Network, Quarterly Newsletters, Rotation Program Improvement Initiative and Visibility Events.
• Direct the off-boarding process; provide managers with promotion guidance, coordinate process for associates and partner with businesses to determine individual transitions.

Organization Development & Effectiveness (15%)
• Assist in the administration of the business unit engagement survey. This includes developing the overall plan for implementation, training, analysis and action planning, and ensuring its execution by working with a broad network of HR colleagues who support TE’s businesses, functions and regions worldwide. Develop and implement strategies to identify and improve organizational engagement and performance.
• Lead the development and implementation of foundations for Talent management metrics and analytics including common and consistent processes, protocols, definitions, and HR metrics across organizational levels
• Create and implement training for HR Business Partners to build their capabilities around talent planning, assessment, development and engagement as part of TE’s HR Transformation initiative.
• Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.

Talent Management Strategy (5%)
Partner with the GTM team and Segment/Business Unit leaders to assess TE’s approach to talent development and ensure alignment with TE’s overall leadership development strategy.
• Provide thought leadership and best practices in the early career development space; identify gaps and opportunities for development; continually refresh to keep programs and processes aligned to business needs.
• Coach, counsel and influence business leaders to build a development culture at TE.
• Support the implementation of the annual performance management and talent review processes.



• Bachelor and Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 3 years+ of applicable HR/Org Development experience required.
