Bethel Bakery is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to serve this amazing and growing bakery. The HR Coordinator serves the management team and supports both current and future team members by providing experienced human resources support. The HR Coordinator will administer various Human Resources programs and procedures including Recruitment and Selection, Orientation and Onboarding, Performance Management, Employee Engagement Activities, Exit Interviews, as well as other HR-related projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process for all company roles
  • Manage the online Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Phone screen and interview candidates, recommending top candidates to managers and coordinating all stages of the interviewing process
  • Coordinate the candidate experience from offer letter to onboarding
  • Maintain relationships with local high schools, culinary schools, and colleges by attending job fairs, mock interviews, arranging student externships, and posting open positions directly to school job boards
  • Manage the employee handbook, assisting in interpretation and understanding
  • Coach managers with employee relations and conflict management
  • Coordinates and promotes employee engagement activities
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Oversee the performance management process
  • Serve as an active member of the company management team
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related filed
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role with a focus on recruiting
  • Ability to work with limited direction, extremely proactive and driven
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws, policies, procedures, and practices
  • High degree of professionalism, maturity, and confidentiality
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities
  • Skilled in working with ATS systems
  • Proficient in Chrome, Word, Excel, Outlook, and job boards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
