SHRM
The Penn State student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management
Our mission is to create an environment in which students of any major can join together regarding professional development and career growth issues in the human resource management field.

SLER
Society of Labor Studies and Employment Relations
The Society of Labor Studies and Employment Relations (SLER) is a student-run club of the Labor Studies and Employment Relations Department. SLER offers students interested in labor studies and employment relations a way to connect with peers, faculty, and professionals working in various labor and employment relations careers. The club also allows for the discussion of current labor and employment topics that are not already covered in the classroom. Most of all, it is a way for students to meet in a relaxed atmosphere with the added benefit of career networking through activities such as guest speakers, alumni site visits, and student/faculty lunches. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm.

Bill Anderson, Paul Davis, Michael Wasser,
Cate Rowe, and Nicole Riofski of SLER.
