CHARTWELL INVESTMENT PARTNERS GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP IN LABOR STUDIES AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

This scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in Labor Studies and Industrial Relations. This philanthropy helps strengthen the University as a world-class learning community dedicated to the continuous advancement of knowledge and the improvement of the human condition.

Mike is a 1983 graduate of Labor Studies and recipient of the 1998 Distinguished Alumni Award in Labor Studies and Industrial Relations. Before beginning his career in the investment management industry, Mike played professional football with the Houston Oilers and the Philadelphia Eagles from 1983 until 1987.

Prior to becoming, Mike was a Vice President at Delaware Investment Advisors from 1993 to 1997, heading Delaware's Taft-Hartley group. From 1991 to 1993, he was the Director of Institutional Marketing for RTE Asset Management, and from 1988 to 1991, he was with Travelers' Asset Management. Mike and his wife, Michele, reside in Lower Gwynedd, Pa, with their three children.
